Eagle Grove volleyball season ends against Belmond-Klemme

Eagle Grove opened up postseason play in the first round of regionals against county rival Belmond-Klemme. The Broncos entered with a 15-15 record, while the Eagles stand at 1-20, both as members of the Top of Iowa Conference.

The Broncos dominated from start, as they took set 1 by a final of 25-12 over the Eagles. Set 2 was much of the same, as Belmond-Klemme took away a 25-9 victory, before closing out the match with a 25-15 win to earn a 3-0 sweep of the Eagles.

Alexa Jeske and Braxton Steil finished with 2 kills each, while Suzi and Maddie Kaiser each finished with 2 assists. Eagle Grove concludes its season with a 1-21 record, while Belmond-Klemme advances to face the Denver Cyclones on Wednesday.
