The Eagle Grove cross country teams traveled to North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, to compete in the Top of Iowa Conference meet. The Eagles make up one of 18 schools in the Top of Iowa Conference.
The Eagle Grove boys finished 9th in the meet, with a score of 216. The Eagle top finisher was junior Drake Weland, who finished 15th with a time of 18:07. Sophomore Noah Thul placed 27th, in a time of 18:54, while Zach Hogrefe and Zabdi Castro finished 57th and 58th in times of 20:27 and 20:28 respectively. The boys conference champions were the Forest City Indians.
On the girls side, Eagle Grove did not compete as a complete team and did not place at the meet. Maddie Axtell was the girls top runner, as she finished 13th, in a time of 22:05. Lesley Mendez was the other Eagles runner, as she finished 75th in a time of 27:57.
