Eagle Grove volleyball falls to Bishop Garrigan, faces Lake Mills on Thursday

Eagle Grove continues the search for win #1 on the 2021 season, as they fell to Algona, Bishop Garrigan on Tuesday night, three sets to none. Eagle Grove battled hard in sets 1 and 2, losing both sets by scores of 25-18, before losing steam in set 3 and losing the final set 25-11.

The Eagles will look to regroup as they travel north to take on the Bulldogs of Lake Mills, who are currently ranked 13th in Class 2A according to the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. Lake Mills and Forest City have combined for the last 4, Top of Iowa Western Division Championships.

Alyssa Dooley’s squad continues to be lead by the usual suspects, in sisters Alexa and Addyson Jeske, Maddie Kaiser, Braxton Steil, and Maddie Blomgren. First serve between Eagle Grove and Lake Mills will be at 7 PM at Lake Mills High School.
