Successful sundae fund raiser for EHF food pantry project held Friday evening at First Congregational UCC in Webster City.

Organizers served around 160 brownie sundaes to kids, adults of all ages —and even a dog or two—Friday night. Occupants in cars lined up on Willson Avenue in front of First Congregational United Church of Christ to await their sundae treats. Donations from generous patrons netted more that $1500 for local food pantries. Later donations pushed the total to more than $2000. That total will be matched by the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation.
“We’re thrilled and thankful that we were able to help generate more than $4000 for our local food pantries,” said Gayle Olson, Mission Board chair.
