Hamilton County sees another jump in COVID-19 cases.

The Iowa Department of Public Health announced Friday morning that there are now 15 cases of COVID-19 in Hamilton County. On Thursday, the count was at 13. Nine of the individuals have since recovered. In surrounding counties,Wright County is reporting in with 77 cases of the virus, Story County with 88, Webster County at 22,Boone County at 22, Hardin County with 13, and Franklin County with 7 confirmed cases. As of Friday, there have been 454 new positive cases in Iowa with 18 deaths being reported. This brings the grand total of COVID-19 cases since March in Iowa  at 16,408 with 418 deaths. The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 119,462 Iowans have been tested for the virus, while 8,904 have recovered.
