Entries are now being accepted for 2019 Hamilton County Fair Queen Contest.

Entries for the 2019 Hamilton County Fair Queen Contest are now being accepted. Girls who reside in Hamilton County or and who reside in a county adjoining Hamilton but the majority  of her activities are in Hamilton County are eligible. Contestants must be at least 16  years of age and not more than 21 years of age on the first day of the Iowa State Fair this August. Judging will take place on July 20,2019 and the Coronation of the 2019  Fair Queen will be the evening of Thursday,July 25.  The contest is limited to the first sixteen entries. McKenna Mitchell is the current Hamilton County Fair Queen. She will surrender her crown to the new queen on July 25.
