Webster City City Council to meet Monday evening,April 1 at Fuller Hall.

The next meeting of the Webster City City Council will be Monday evening,April 1 at 5:30 in the Sampson Room of the Fuller Hall Recreation Center. The reason is due to renovation work in the council chambers. One of the highlights of the meeting will  be the swearing in for new police officers Andrew Lowe and Shawn Schroder.  There will be a public hearing  on a proposed purchase agreement for city owned property located in Brewer Creek Estates Fifth and Sixth additions in Webster City with a resolution authorizing and approving the execution of a purchase agreement between the city of Webster City  and J. Larson Homes of Des Moines. The council will have the third reading on ordinances for community protection general provision and for junk and junk vehicles. There will be the second reading on proposed ordinances to sewer rental and on industrial sewer user compliance enforcement.

In other matters, the council will take action on changing the time for their regular meetings, approve a resolution with Schlotfeldt Engineering of Webster City for the Wilson Brewer site improvement and courthouse project, award a contract with Iowa Plains Signing,Incorporated of Slater for street traffic lane striping services, approve an agreement with Snyder and Associates of Ankeny for engineering services  in connection with the water main repair project,award a contract for the next three years with the Pavement Doctor of Fort Dodge for a spray injection patching program for the term of one year. Other contracts to be awarded will be with ACCU-JET of Perry for sanitary and storm sewer services for a three year period. A request from the interim city manager and public grounds director to seek bids for and purchase,if not exceeding $12,500 for a zero turn mower for the cemetery department plus other matters.
