Ariana Grande’s docuseries coming to YouTube Thursday

Business WireBack in July, Ariana Grande revealed to her fans that a film project she had in the works wasn’t a movie, but a “docuseries” with “episodes.” Well, we’ll finally get to see it tomorrow.

YouTube has announced that the docuseries, a YouTube original called Dangerous Woman Diaries, will debut on the streaming platform tomorrow.  The series will document Ari’s Dangerous Woman world tour, which was halted following the terrorist bombing outside her show at Manchester Arena in the U.K. on May 22, 2017.  It will also presumably document the singer’s subsequent One Love Manchester benefit concert.

If the docuseries was filmed during the timeframe of these events, it will likely include footage of Ari’s former boyfriend, Mac Miller, from whom she split in May of 2018.  In September, he died of drug overdose.

Meanwhile, it’s rumored that Ariana’s highly anticipated “thank u, next” video will arrive on Friday.  The clip, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, will feature tributes to Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30, Bring It On and Legally Blonde.
